How To Get Rid of Liquidambar (Sweet Gum) Seed Balls

Although the tree has beautiful fall color, the Liquidambar (aka Sweet Gum) tree has a lot going against it, including surface roots that can crack driveways, sidewalks and patios; branches that break easily in the wind; and, those notorious, hard, sharp-spiked seed balls, the bane of dog paws and bare human feet.
